Terms of use

Last updated: 26 August 2026

1. Who we are

Tenure (“Tenure”, “we”, “us”) is a student housing platform currently in development in Norwich, United Kingdom. You can reach us any time at contact@tenure.info.

2. What this site is

This website introduces Tenure and lets you join our waitlist, take part in our research study, refer landlords and register interest as a partner or ambassador. Tenure is pre-launch: we don’t yet provide lettings, tenancy or payment services through this site, and any screens, listings, prices or people shown are illustrative examples rather than live offers.

3. Joining the waitlist

Joining the waitlist is free and doesn’t commit you to anything. A place on the waitlist doesn’t guarantee access to the app or any particular feature or launch date, and you can ask to be removed at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link in our emails.

4. Studies, referrals and rewards

From time to time we offer rewards — for example a prize draw for completing our research study, or a reward for referring a landlord who joins the platform. Each offer is subject to the details published alongside it: rewards are limited to one per eligible person unless stated otherwise, referrals must be genuine and made with the other person’s knowledge, and we may withhold rewards where we reasonably believe an entry is fraudulent, automated or abusive. Rewards have no cash alternative unless stated.

5. Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse the site: no attempting to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, no submitting unlawful, misleading or offensive content through our forms, and no impersonating anyone else.

6. Intellectual property

The Tenure name, logo, designs and content on this site belong to us or our licensors. You’re welcome to browse and share links, but please don’t copy or reuse our branding or content commercially without asking first.

7. Third-party links

Where the site links to third-party sites or services (for example a partner’s website), those are outside our control and have their own terms.

8. Our liability

This site is provided “as is” for information ahead of launch. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses arising from reliance on pre-launch information or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as Tenure develops; the date above shows the latest version. If we make significant changes to how the waitlist or rewards work, we’ll flag them on this site or by email.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms? Email contact@tenure.info — we read everything.
