Why join Tenure?

Most student ambassador roles involve handing out flyers for an established company. This role is different. You’ll be joining an ambitious startup at an early stage, meaning your ideas, initiative and work will directly influence how the business grows. You’ll have genuine responsibility from day one and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on a company built specifically to improve student renting. If you’re ambitious, enjoy meeting new people and want to help build something exciting, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply directly below. Instead of asking for a traditional cover letter, we’d like you to answer three short questions of around 150–200 words each.

  1. Tell us about an achievement you’re particularly proud of. This doesn’t have to be academic, we’re interested in what it says about you.

  2. What do you enjoy doing outside of your studies? Tell us about a society, sport, hobby, volunteering role, or project you’ve been involved in, and what keeps you motivated to do it.

  3. Describe a time you worked as part of a team to achieve a goal. What was your role, what challenges did you face, and what was the outcome?

We ask these questions instead of requesting a cover letter because we believe they give a more genuine insight into who you are. At Tenure we value curiosity, initiative, teamwork and personality over perfectly polished applications. We read every application and reply to all of them.
