Campus role
Vacancy details
Norwich, Norfolk, UK — UEA campus, on-site / hybrid
£12.50 per hour
Zero hours contract, approximately 8 hours a week, flexible around studies
Start date: September 2026, or as agreed
This isn’t a typical campus job. You’ll become the face of Tenure at UEA and help shape how the company develops.
You’ll help grow our student community, build relationships with landlords, represent us at university events and shape how Tenure develops. If you enjoy meeting people, are involved in university life, and want real startup experience that makes a measurable impact, we’d love to hear from you.
Represent Tenure across the UEA campus as an official Campus Growth Intern.
Promote Tenure during Welcome Week, Freshers’ Fair and other university events.
Speak with students, societies and university groups to increase awareness of the platform.
Encourage students to recommend landlords or letting agents and conduct introductory demonstrations where useful.
Gather feedback, support marketing campaigns and identify opportunities to grow Tenure’s presence in Norwich.
Act as the voice of students, helping shape new features and services based on user feedback.
Essential
A current second or third year UEA student, or postgraduate student and beyond. Confident, friendly, self-motivated and reliable, with excellent communication skills and a willingness to approach students and local businesses.
Desirable
Design skills in tools like Canva, society or sports club involvement, an existing student network, customer-facing experience, event promotion, or interest in property, technology, business or marketing.
This role is designed to give you genuine commercial experience, not just another part-time role. You’ll work directly alongside the founders, learn how startups acquire customers and scale, influence product development through customer feedback, strengthen your communication and leadership skills, and gain measurable achievements that stand out on your CV.
Why join Tenure?
Most student ambassador roles involve handing out flyers for an established company. This role is different. You’ll join an ambitious startup early, where your ideas and initiative directly influence how the business grows.
What we value
Curiosity, initiative, teamwork and personality over perfectly polished applications.
